Stories

Welcome to my little corner of creative pursuits. Please select from the following for your reading pleasure.

Please note all my stories involve male to male sexual activity, in some cases quite graphic, at other times only mentioned as part of the narrative. Also, a number of my stories have characters with serious psychological problems, suicides occur, and there is always the chance for violence. Many of my characters do not live happy lives. And, characters die here.

Long Stories (series)

The Artists

The Robert Charles Memorial Scholarships offer art majors at North Park College a full ride, partial board, a weekly stipend for miscellaneous expenses, and a room and studio in Charles House. Six and Casey are this year’s freshmen. They are as different as night and day, but don’t seem to be outclassed by the other residents.

The Pastel Cowboy

Zachary Alexander is a normal teen growing up on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oklahoma. He's the quarterback of his high school football team, which took the State Championship. During the summer before his senior year, Zach goes on a canoe trip with three of his friends. An incident occurs on that trip which dramatically alters Zach's life. He is branded a homosexual by those friends and life goes horribly wrong. This story covers nearly two years of Zach's life as he grows toward adulthood searching for the truth about his rightful place on the sexual landscape.

Tim and the Corsair

Geoff Johnson is having a horrible sophomore year in high school. He's just been released from a private psychiatric hospital. He's suicidal because his best friend died, his father died, the boy who might have become his next best friend very nearly killed him, and he seems to have an insatiable need to have people walk all over him. He's smart, a genius, but has the self-esteem of a doormat. All he wants is love, but is deathly afraid of anyone falling in love with him because all his lovers die, disappear, or simply go away.
